LoVaper CE4 Starter Kit

LoVaper CE4 Kit Review – Is It Worth the Money?

If you are reading this review you are probably looking for a cheap e-cig and are considering buying a LoVaper CE4 vape pen. Along with the relatively low price, the fact that LoVaper always sells the units in pairs may make the CE4 kit an especially enticing option.

Unfortunately, there appear to be quality issues that you need to be aware of before you decide to splash out on this particular piece of kit.

At one point LoVaper was selling its CE4 e-cigarette twin-pack in a handy zippered case that also contained several bottles of e-juice. These days, the case is gone and there is no free juice.

That may remove a little of the former sparkle for anyone who is looking for vaping starter kit but the truth is very few suppliers offer free e-juice these days and it’s hardly a catastrophe. It allows you to choose your flavours, decide if you want an e-juice that contains nicotine and the nicotine strength if you do.

Company Credibility

LoVaper is one of several vaping brands owned by Shenzhen Meihe Dianzi Youxiangongsi. The company is based in Hong Kong and appears to distribute most of its LoVaper products online.

The company website, which is basic, to say the least, mentions wholesale options so it’s possible some people may be distributing them via stores. However, the chances are that, if you’ve encountered the name “LoVaper” its probably going to have been on Amazon. It’s not a popular brand. The main thing that appears to attract people to its products are the reasonably low prices.

Special Features

Vape Pen Charge IndicatorsAs with other brands of CE4 vape pen, you charge the pen via the USB port on the bottom of the battery. The bottom of the batter has some red LEDs that indicate battery status. When the lights are on it’s still charging. Whey they go out, the battery is fully charged.

When the battery is low and needs charging again, the blue power button start flashing to let you know.

The black battery has a textured surface that makes it easier to hold and more difficult to slip through your fingers. The silver battery does not have this.

LoVaper CE4 Customer Reviews

If you take look at the Amazon customer reviews you will see slightly more good ones than bad.

At the time of this review, 58% of Amazon customers had awarded the LoVaper CE4 Kit five stars.

A lot of customers comment the battery life is good. Unfortunately, some customers say their vape pens didn’t work or stopped working correctly after only a few weeks.

LoVaper CE4 Customer Reviews

Where Can I Buy the LoVaper CE4?

It’s possible the LoVaper CE4 kit may be available via certain retailers because the LoVaper website mentions wholesale but the main place selling the kits appears to be Amazon. [UPDATE: As of October 2020, the LoVaper CE4 no longer appears to be available via Amazon. Don’t worry, I suggest some alternatives further on in this review.]

Is There a Warranty or Guarantee?

The marketing material doesn’t mention a guarantee or warranty so it is probably safe to assume there is neither. However, if you buy it and have a problem within the first 30 days, you may be able to get a refund under the Amazon Returns Policy. That’s not great, but it’s better than having nothing to fall back upon.

How Much Does the LoVaper CE4 Cost (And is it Worth the Money?)

Is this the best vaporzier for me?At the time of this review, the Amazon price for LoVaper CE4 kit was £24.99. There were no additional charges for shipping.

Amazon was also offering a fast-shipping option. It cost extra but could get you your delivery in 24 hours instead of having to wait a week or more for your parcel to arrive.

As far as the price goes, the LoVaper CE4 kit seems pretty cheap. Especially bearing in mind the fact you are getting two vape pens instead of one.

However, Amazon also has similar items, distributed under other brand names, that are even cheaper still. Most of them have a zippered case similar to the one the LoVaper CE4 Kit used to have.

For example, a Discoball CE4 starter kit, that contains two vape pens and has a case as well only costs £15.99 (price correct at the time of this review). That’s a £10 saving. It’s hard to see the point of paying more when you can pay less.

The LoVaper CE4 Kit offers a simple, no-fuss vaping experience that makes it a pretty good option for anyone who wants to stop smoking and start vaping instead.

A heavy smoker could find the saving they make will have paid for the kit after a couple of days. However, customer reviews suggest there can be quality and durability issues with the LoVaper CE4. You need to bear that in mind.

If you are new to vaping or simply prefer using a vape pen instead of a box mod, it may be a good idea to forget about the LoVaper CE4 Kit and go with an Innokin Endura T18 instead. You’ll only be getting one unit instead of two, but Innokin is a respected brand and you should be able to get an Endura T18 for under £20.
